ABOUT JOHN ELLIOTT

John Elliott worked for the Special Operations Group, an adjunct to the U.S. Department of State and the CIA, and concurrently for the Israeli spy agency Mossad. His first assignment took him to the jungles of northern Laos in the late summer of 1966 as he targeted Communist insurgents, and ended in a hotel room in Dubai at the dawn of 2010 as he tracked down a Hamas terror leader. He also spent many of those years working in law enforcement, both in the United States and with Interpol in Lyon, France.

He is a contributing author for the best selling series of Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books, the former on-air commentator for the British Broadcasting Corporation's (BBC) Sunday Morning Live shows in Belfast, Northern Ireland and in London, England, a commentator for Radio Zabok in Croatia, and has appeared on a variety of television shows, including the Christian Broadcasting Network's (CBN) The 700 Club. Hollywood will soon be producing a full-length motion picture centered around his stunning autobiography, Zephyr, and the BBC in London will be creating a television situation comedy based on the book about his father, entitled, Life According to Dad



The author of twenty-seven published works, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, an MBA, and a Juris Doctorate law degree. Fluent in English, Gaelic, Hebrew and Hungarian, he can also converse in both French and Italian. He was the former Senior Adviser to Gina Haspel, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and is a  public and motivational speaker, conducting crime avoidance and safety seminars nationwide. He is also an advocate for America's military veterans and law enforcement officers the world over, as well as being an international competitor in both rifle and pistol shooting events, including the Olympic Games.
